 In 2023, the Health sector has successfully completed the task of protecting and caring for people's health, contributing to ensuring social security and economic development of the province;  with many outstanding results.  Specifically, achieving and exceeding 6/6 socio-economic targets of the province in the field of health - population: Percentage of population participating in health insurance: 96.07%;  Maintain replacement fertility level for women of reproductive age, crude birth rate reaches 13.3%; Maintain 100% of medical stations with doctors working;  Maintain 100% of communes, wards and towns meeting the National Health Criteria;  Planned hospital beds/ten thousand people: 36.0; Percentage of malnourished children under 5 years old: 7.19%. Organize and effectively deploy activities to monitor, prevent and control dangerous infectious diseases such as dengue fever, malaria, hand, foot and mouth disease... Maintain good implementation of quality improvement activities  population, ensuring food safety, preventing some non-communicable diseases, and preventing social diseases.

 The quality of medical examination, treatment and patient care continues to be improved. Many new and specialized techniques have been routinely deployed by the Provincial General Hospital and some provincial hospitals in disease diagnosis and treatment. Many complicated cases are diagnosed and cured locally without having to be transferred to the central hospital for treatment thanks to the very effective implementation of the Satellite Hospital Project; Cooperate in training human resources and support and transfer technology from central hospitals to the province.
