The Provincial People's Committee worked with Tay Son district to deploy key tasks and solutions in 2024

 In 2024, based on 17 socio-economic targets assigned by the Provincial People's Committee, the district has set 31 targets and assigned them to departments, branches and branches of the district and People's Committees of communes and towns to implement; Of which, there are 6 targets that strive to be higher than the provincial assigned targets. In particular, strive for the growth rate of product value of main manufacturing industries to reach 9.52%.

 For 10 key tasks to be implemented in 2024, the People's Committee of Tay Son district determined to focus on calling for investment in 7 key projects in communes: Tay Giang, Binh Tuong, Tay Phu, Vinh An and Phu Phong town, create a breakthrough in the coming time and request the Provincial People's Committee and departments to support promotion and call for investment.

 Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan clearly pointed out directions and solutions for Tay Son district to complete the targets and tasks in 2024, creating momentum for growth and development in the coming years. In particular, Tay Son must focus on developing agriculture associated with processing when there is an agricultural product processing project registered for investment in the area. Localities should pay attention to promoting strong transformation of crop structure and building raw material areas for processing factories;  Organize and build focal points and traders to consume OCOP products in the area; Replicate the model of planting large timber forests. In addition, the locality checks, reviews, and completes the NTM criteria so that the Central inspection team can inspect, evaluate, and recognize the district as meeting NTM standards.

 In the industrial sector, continue to improve the technical infrastructure of newly formed industrial clusters, promote calling for processing industry projects, and jointly implement planning and quickly shape new industrial zones and clusters in parallel with newly opened traffic routes, creating a clean land fund to attract investment. Another important task must focus on building Tay Son to meet grade 4 urban standards, progressing to a town and beyond to become a city. Urban construction and development need to be methodically and modernly planned;  Invest in urban wastewater treatment systems.

 In the field of culture and tourism, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan assigned the Department of Culture and Sports to coordinate with the district to organize events related to the Tay Son dynasty at national level.  The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged the solidarity of the political system of Tay Son district in managing socio-economic development in recent times and hoped that authorities at all levels, especially the commune level, would be flexible and proactive. In directing, administering, and performing public duties, we must closely and  respect the people, change the way we behave with people at work, and well solve daily problems and issues; propagate, mobilize and create consensus of the people during the implementation of projects and investment works in the area...
