Some outstanding results in socio-economic development in 2023 include: Total value of local products reaches over 5,064 billion VND, reaching 105.55% of the plan; Economic growth rate reached 11.66%. Total state budget revenue generated in the area is 178.8 billion VND, exceeding 32.78% of the district's estimate assigned at the beginning of the year and 79.5% exceeding the plan assigned by the province. Social and security policies are implemented promptly, to the right subjects and effectively. Cultural and sports activities continue to have many positive changes. The quality of operations of the government system from district to grassroots level has been improved...

 Implementing Document No. 9495/UBND-TH dated December 14, 2023 of the People's Committee on announcing a number of socio-economic development targets in 2024 for districts, towns, and cities, the People's Committee of Hoai An district has issued  issued Decision No. 6347/QD-UBND dated December 21, 2023 on promulgating main solutions to direct and administer the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and state budget estimates for 2024; Plan No. 113/KH-UBND dated December 21, 2023 on implementing solutions to implement major socio-economic and defense-security development targets in 2024 in the district. The District People's Committee also organized a conference to deploy solutions to implement socio-economic targets; decided to assign specific socio-economic development targets for sectors and localities to implement.

 Chairman of Hoai An District People's Committee proposed that the Provincial People's Committee pay attention to, create conditions and support advanced irrigation systems to save water on large areas of concentrated fruit trees to improve the quality and value of products. products, increasing competition in the market. To continue promoting the effectiveness of the policy of supporting free-range chickens, Hoai An district requests that the Provincial People's Committee continue to pay attention and direct the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to increase the level of support in quantity so that more households can participate and benefit  from policy.

 Chairman of Hoai An District People's Committee also proposed that the Provincial People's Committee soon have support policies for the locality to develop concentrated livestock farming areas and disease-free livestock areas; Soon have a policy to invest and upgrade eroded river banks, especially the An Lao river bank (My Duc village, An My commune) so that the District People's Committee can organize and implement the steps according to regulations.

 Speaking at the conclusion of the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan highly appreciated the results that Hoai An district achieved in 2023 and the local proactiveness in building and implementing solutions to implement targets.  Socio-economic year 2024.

 Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan emphasized that the major orientation of Hoai An district in the coming time is to develop high-tech agriculture associated with deep processing and develop a circular economy in agriculture; develop large raw material areas for the whole province.  Along with that, focus on improving transportation infrastructure for economic development.  Construction and urban embellishment, civilized and beautiful rural management, especially areas along both sides of the North-South expressway;  At the same time, turning the area where the North-South Expressway passes through becomes space for future socio-economic development. Ensuring social security and sustainable poverty reduction; maintain social order and safety; Pay attention to environmental sanitation.

 Based on the above major orientations, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan proposed that Hoai An district focus on completing socio-economic development targets in 2024. In particular, focus on converting crop structure, pet; forming a large raw material area;  Focus on developing and consuming OCOP products; Replicate the youth cooperative model to other localities. Prepare clean premises, complete infrastructure, and clear land to attract capable investors to industrial clusters; The goal for the year is to attract at least 1 agricultural and livestock processing factory project. In addition, it is necessary to build at least one key transport infrastructure project connecting to the North-South expressway to facilitate economic development. Focus on building Tang Bat Ho urban area, a modern and civilized residential area; Use revenue from land use fees to invest in transportation infrastructure. Strengthen budget collection and disbursement of public investment. Focus on digital transformation; ensure information technology infrastructure reaches the commune;  operated by information technology system; Implement the province's 2024 Digital Transformation Plan. In addition, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan also noted that Hoai An district needs to organize and perform well the following tasks: ensuring social security, environmental management, ensuring traffic order and safety, and maintaining order social self-safety.

 Regarding management and administration, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan requested the Hoai An District People's Committee to guide how to implement tasks and solutions for each commune and town.
