 At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan welcomed the Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City to visit Binh Dinh province and attend the Meeting with Heads of diplomatic missions and foreign organizations in  Vietnam, held in the province on November 11.

 Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan gave an overview of the local characteristics, potential, strengths and socio-economic development situation in recent times, and development orientation in the coming time.

 Comrade Pham Anh Tuan emphasized the traditional friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and India.

 Sharing the same opinion as Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi, comrade Pham Anh Tuan said that in the coming time, there will be many opportunities for cooperation between Binh Dinh and India, especially in the fields of trade, tourism, and technology, information technology, health care, education, culture...

 Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan thanked the Indian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City for paying attention and promoting cooperation between Binh Dinh province and Indian localities and partners in recent times.   At the same time, we hope that the Consul General will continue to pay attention and connect and introduce Indian businesses to learn about investment opportunities in the province;  Support investment, trade and tourism promotion into the province as well as enhance cultural and educational exchange activities between the two sides.

 In particular, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan hopes that in the coming time, the two sides will increase meetings and discussions to build and agree on the implementation of cooperation programs and specific action plans, in order to achieve  many more profound results in the cooperative relationship between the two sides.

 Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi - Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City thanked the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee for the respectful welcome.  At the same time, he emphasized that India always prioritizes promoting comprehensive strategic partnership with Vietnam.  Currently, after the Covid-19 pandemic, flights between the two countries have been reconnected and expanded, contributing to bringing many Indian businesses and tourists to Vietnam as well as Binh Dinh province. He said this is a suitable time for the two sides to increase trade meetings and commercial business activities to connect businesses and entrepreneurs of Binh Dinh province and India in the field of import and export of goods.…

 Based on the results of cooperation achieved between India and Binh Dinh province, Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi suggested areas in which the two sides can cooperate in the future such as: tourism, trade, education,  health,... And hope that the provincial departments and branches will support and provide information for Indian businesses wishing to learn about investing in the province. At the same time, Binh Dinh province is invited to organize a working delegation to visit and work in India to enhance mutual understanding, exchange potentials, strengths and explore cooperation opportunities between the two sides.
