 Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan thanked Consul General Wiraka Moodhitaporn for accepting the invitation to visit and attend the Meeting with Heads of diplomatic representative agencies and foreign organizations in Vietnam, held in Binh province, set for next 11/11. The conference aims to introduce and promote the province's potential, advantages and economic, cultural and social information with foreign agencies and partners to gradually promote and expand cooperative relations.  internationally, attracting investment, promoting trade and tourism to serve the province's socio-economic development.

 Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan said that in the province there are currently 10 projects of Thai investors with a total registered investment capital of 106.97 million USD. Among them, the highlights are the Binh Dinh Cattle Feed Factory project and the C.P Vietnam Cattle Processing Factory project in Binh Dinh of C.P Livestock Joint Stock Company. In the first 10 months of 2023, the province's export turnover to the Thai market reached nearly 1.3 million USD, an increase of more than 69% over the same period in 2022. Main export items include ores and other minerals, garment products and aquatic products.

 Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan hopes that in the coming time, as a bridge, the Consul General will pay attention and support the province to further promote the cooperative relationship between Binh Dinh province and its partners. Thailand is becoming more and more profound, practical and effective. In particular, Chairman Pham Anh Tuan hopes that the Consul General will support the province in organizing an investment promotion conference for Thai businesses in Binh Dinh to introduce the local socio-economic situation and exchange information,  policies and orientations to attract investment, develop trade and tourism, and programs and projects that Thai businesses can cooperate in implementing in Binh Dinh.  In addition, Chairman Pham Anh Tuan hopes that the Consul General will connect Thai business associations to visit and learn about investment opportunities in the province in the fields of agriculture, industry, tourism, logistics, renewable energy; Connecting Thai travel associations and companies to organize charter flights from Thailand to Binh Dinh and vice versa.

 Consul General Wiraka Moodhitaporn was pleased to see that, in recent times, the friendly relations and good cooperation between Vietnam and Thailand have been continuously strengthened and developed. Leaders of the two countries have organized visits to deepen cooperation in politics, economics, defense - security, culture, education and people-to-people exchanges between the two sides. At the local level, exchange, connection, investment cooperation, and trade promotion activities between Vietnamese provinces and cities, including Binh Dinh province, and Thai localities have been expanded, get into the essence.

 On the occasion of the 47th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations (1976 - 2023) and 10 years of strategic partnership between Vietnam and Thailand (2013 - 2023), the Thai Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City organized  many meaningful activities on this occasion.

 Consul General Wiraka Moodhitaporn congratulated the socio-economic development results of Binh Dinh province in recent times, especially in the field of tourism. Regarding the province's proposals, the Consul General promised to connect and create conditions for the province to successfully organize the Investment Promotion Conference for Thai businesses, as well as introduce and connect associations and businesses. Thailand's major enterprises come to explore investment in the province in the near future./.
