Inauguration of Tra O bridge, connecting My Thang and My Duc communes, Phu My district

 Attending the inauguration ceremony were comrades Ho Quoc Dung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council;  Pham Anh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Committee of the People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; leaders of departments of the province and Phu My district; with a large number of officials and people of My Thang and My Duc communes.

Tra O Bridge was built with reinforced concrete and prestressed reinforced concrete, including 7 spans of 33m long prestressed beams; Bridge width is 5m (with traffic avoidance span), bridgehead is 450m long, road surface is cement concrete. Total project investment cost is about 45 billion VND. The project's construction started in March 2022. Up to now, the project has been completed to ensure quality and progress according to the plan.

 The project is put into use to meet the travel, goods transportation and trade needs of people in My Thang and My Duc communes and Phu My district safely and conveniently, especially during the rainy and flood season, promoting good project investment efficiency.

 Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang affirmed: The project of building a bridge from village 11, My Thang commune to My Duc commune, Phu My district, crossing Tra O lagoon, is an important traffic route, is the desire of the people of My Duc and My Thang communes for a long time.  Previously, this location was connected by a bridge for people to travel during the dry season. During the rainy season, traffic was not possible because it was not safe.

 The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the Department of Transport to urgently complete documents and procedures to hand over the project to Phu My District People's Committee for management and exploitation; At the same time, focus on completing project settlement documents according to regulations. Phu My District People's Committee is responsible for receiving and handing over the project to manage, operate, exploit and promote the efficiency of project construction investment.
