 Discussing at the seminar, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lam Hai Giang said that the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress identified 5 pillars in the province's economic development in the period 2020 - 2025: industry and tourism, high-tech agriculture, logistic port services and urban economy. In which tourism is identified as a key economic sector. After more than 2 years of implementing the Resolution, the targets achieved by the province in 2022 are quite impressive, showing the right direction in the province's economic development. With the overall growth rate of the service industry being 12.61% (contributing 4.89 percentage points to the overall growth rate of the entire economy), the growth rate of the tourism industry is much higher: business Hotel and restaurant revenue increased by 56.1%, travel and tourism revenue increased by 9.3 times over the same period. The total number of tourists reached 4.12 million, an increase of 1.8 times; Total tourism revenue reached over VND 13,000 billion, an increase of 6.5 times.

According to Mr. Lam Hai Giang, the highlight in the province's tourism development post-COVID 19 is to take advantage of the opportunity and make a difference, be bold and determined to open up to recover and develop. In particular, promotion, advertising, and cooperation in tourism development continue to be promoted with many new ways. Since Binh Dinh Tourism is still very faint in the tourism map of Vietnam, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province has signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with 4 airlines and 3 major travel companies of the country, which is Saigon Tourist, Hanoi Tourist and Viettravel. Focus on building new tourism products and renewing existing tourism products to suit new contexts and target groups. Focus on improving service quality by building a system of advanced criteria and encouraging businesses to register for implementation. A new type of tourism, conference and seminar tourism (referred to as MICE tourism), is encouraged to develop with the focus being the ICISE Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education and the Center for Scientific Discovery and Innovation. newly created.

 The main attraction of Binh Dinh tourism in the recent period is the upgrade and improvement of infrastructure, the friendliness and hospitality of Binh Dinh people, and the wild, almost intact beauty of the natural environment, are the tangible and intangible heritage of Binh Dinh's unique culture and history... But most importantly, it is the determination and efforts of the government, the companionship and support households and businesses in green and sustainable tourism development.

 A cultural and sports event must always be placed in harmony with the economic development of the province, as well as the common goals of the country. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lam Hai Giang said that to have optimal resonance of cultural - sports events, creating the best effects in all economic - social - environmental aspects requires there is synchronization.  Therefore, when organizing cultural and sports events, we must grasp and make the best use of opportunities to promote development.  Besides the main activities of the race, many response events before, during and after the event will also be held. Accordingly, the province will focus on advertising and promoting investment and tourism through communication activities about events, organizing international investment promotion conferences, culinary culture weeks, and cultural festivals, costumes and street music to attract tourists.  On the other hand, this race will be the starting point for Binh Dinh to strive to become the chosen location to organize national, regional and international sports events. At the same time, a number of new investment projects will be promoted for implementation such as: Marina and yacht maintenance services, yacht factory and accommodation and entertainment services on yachts...

Mr. Nguyen Hai Duong, Head of International Cooperation Department, General Department of Physical Training and Sports, Vice President, General Secretary of Vietnam Sailing Federation, said that a boat racing tournament held in Binh Dinh will have an impact. Positive towards the trend of developing similar sports competitions in Vietnam in the future. At the same time, promoting the growing movement of Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP) practice; create conditions for SUP enthusiasts across the country to have the opportunity to compete, interact, learn, and improve their skills and techniques in SUP paddling in different environments and water surface conditions; perfect the national competition system; Organize annual evaluation and ranking of SUP players' achievements (athletes - athletes) as a basis for selecting personnel to represent the Vietnam National Federation to attend international competitions...
