Announcing the VnExpress Marathon Quy Nhon 2024 route

 More than 8,000 athletes will compete in the tournament taking place on June 23 with 4 distances: 5 km, 10 km, 21 km and 42 km. Of which, the 42 km distance will start at 3 o'clock;  21 km distance starts at 4 o'clock; 10 km distance starts at 4:30 am; The 5km distance starts at 4:45 am at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square.

 To serve competing runners, along the running route, the Organizing Committee arranged 2 single watering stations, 10 two-way watering stations, 1 main medical station and 11 regular medical stations; 5 ambulance car locations on the track and finish area; 14 toilets.

 Following the success of VnExpress Marathon Quy Nhon in previous years, this year's tournament changed the running route to 21 km and 42 km, to help runners explore a colorful coastal urban area on the running route being spacious, comfortable and right on the beach.

 Before that, on June 22 there will be a running race for children from 6 to 10 years old, with the participation of about 2,000 young athletes.

 The 21km running route takes runners to admire the landscape of Thi Nai lagoon and Quy Nhon port. This year, the 21 km route does not cross Thi Nai bridge, increasing the possibility of achieving a personal record for athletes.  Photo: BTC

 At a distance of 42 km, after crossing Thi Nai bridge, the athletes ran on the coastal road of Nhon Hoi with many green trees and a full street light system, ensuring lighting conditions for competition. Photo: BTC
