Provincial leaders work with Korean businesses

 At the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Ho Quoc Dung introduced the potentials and strengths of Binh Dinh province. Emphasizing the characteristics of local culture, the Provincial Party Secretary said that Binh Dinh province has a long history, being the capital of a number of dynasties with unique and ancient cultures (Sa Huynh, Champa) with a system of valuable cultural relics and cultural interference of ethnic groups. Binh Dinh is also the birthplace of many national heroes, famous generals and many great poets and cultural celebrities; The place where the national language originated, the Tay Son movement, associated with the name of the outstanding hero Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue.  The people of Binh Dinh have a tradition of revolutionary heroes, the will to be self-reliant, dynamic, creative, and have the desire to rise to build an increasingly rich, beautiful, and modern homeland.

 Sharing about efforts to find a different direction for the locality, Provincial Party Secretary Ho Quoc Dung said that the province has been implementing the construction of Quy Hoa Science Urban Area and AI Artificial Intelligence Center.  This is the only place in Vietnam that has welcomed thousands of professors and scientists from many countries and territories around the world to attend international scientific conferences, research and work, including  Many professors won Nobel Prizes, Field Prizes, Shaw Prizes, Kavli Prizes...

 The fact that Binh Dinh province was chosen as the venue for the UIM F1H2O International Professional Powerboat Race and the UIM F1H2O World Championship - Grand Prix of Binh Dinh 2024 is also a testament to the efforts  expanding force of Binh Dinh province.

 Provincial Party Secretary Ho Quoc Dung also said that currently, Binh Dinh province has been investing, upgrading and perfecting socio-economic infrastructure, promoting administrative reform to be ready to welcome investors;  At the same time, commit to continue creating an open, safe, fair and transparent investment and business environment;  create the most favorable conditions for domestic and foreign investors to invest and do business in the province.

 Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan pledged that investors will enjoy the highest incentives according to the Government's regulations on land rent, tax rates, corporate income tax, and import tax. Along with that, investors will promptly resolve difficulties and problems during the process of researching and implementing investment projects in the province. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan also hopes that the two investors will connect potential Korean businesses to learn about investing in Binh Dinh.

 Chairman of the Board of Directors of SM Group Lee Soo Man agrees with the view of using culture as the foundation for the province's development.

 Mr. Lee Soo Man - Chairman of the Board of Directors of SM Group and Mr. Jang Chin Hyuk - Chairman of the Board of Directors of MNK Vietnam Co., Ltd. thanked the provincial leaders for the respectful welcome to the delegation. Leaders of the two businesses highly appreciated the potentials and advantages of Binh Dinh province and believed that these were important bases to attract many investors to the province.

 Realizing the compatibility between the development orientation of Binh Dinh province and that of businesses, taking culture as the foundation for development, Mr. Lee Soo Man said he would focus on researching investment in the province in the industrial sector of entertainment with the desire to make Binh Dinh a famous destination in the world.

 Impressed with the beauty of Binh Dinh province, Mr. Jang Chin Hyuk affirmed that he will spend more time in Binh Dinh in the near future. Mr. Jang Chin Hyuk proposed to research, survey, and explore investment opportunities in the province in the fields of trade, services, and entertainment.

 Korean businesses expect leaders of Binh Dinh province to continue to pay attention and create conditions, especially preferential policies for businesses to learn and invest in the province.

 At the meeting, Mr. Le Hoang Nghi - Director of the Department of Planning and Investment and Mr. Jang Chin Hyuk - Chairman of the Board of Directors of MNK Vietnam Co., Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a coordination relationship, Support in research, survey, and understanding of investment opportunities for 05 projects in Binh Dinh province. Specifically: (1) Commercial and service area project (Golf course) with the goal of building a commercial and service area with a golf course according to international standards, to develop the province's tourism and serve entertainment needs for the citizen; (2) Urban core area project belongs to the detailed planning project of Nhon Hoi eco-tourism urban area with the goal of investing in building an urban area including a human resources training center, hospital, hotel area, playground; (3) Central Commercial Area Project with the goal of serving the entertainment and shopping needs of local people and surrounding areas; (4) Flying Taxi project with the goal of meeting local travel and tourism development needs; (5) Music festival organization project with the goal of developing local culture and tourism, while attracting foreign tourists to the province./.
