Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan welcomed to work with the BWA Association

  (binhdinh.gov.vn) - On the morning of April 12, at the headquarters of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan welcomed and worked with the Working Group of the Association for Economic Development and Foreign Trade, Federal Republic  Germany (BWA). The BWA delegation was led by Mr. Urs Unkauf - Federal Executive Director & Head of the delegation and a number of large German enterprises. Attend a working session with leaders of relevant establishments and sectors of the province.

  At the next meeting, Head of the German business delegation Urs Unkauf, Federal Executive Director of BWA highly appreciated the economic development capacity of Binh Dinh province. At the same time, we expect that through this working visit, we will build a bridge between German and Vietnamese businesses in general, and between German localities and Binh Dinh province in particular in the fields of both sides, mutual concern; Since then, there have been specific cooperative activities aimed at promoting and strengthening the cooperative relationship between the two to become increasingly close, in-depth and effective. Head of German business Urs Unkauf, Federal Executive Director of BWA, expressed his desire to cooperate with Binh Dinh province in the fields of green industry, semiconductors, and telecommunications in the near future.

  At the meeting, representatives of businesses in the group also discussed and shared areas of investment interest in the coming time such as pharmaceuticals, education and training, and urban development. Some businesses showed their willingness to care and support Binh Dinh Province in investment and mutually beneficial cooperation.

  At the next meeting, Deputy Secretary of Province, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan highly appreciated the work of German businesses visiting and working in Binh Dinh province; At the same time, sharing the development directions of the Province in fields that German businesses are interested in.

  Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan emphasized: Binh Dinh is a locality with much potential and is in the early stages of economic development. Recently, Binh Dinh province's planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, has been approved by the Prime Minister. This is an important basis for the province to develop socio-economic development tasks and goals, attracting investment. Currently, 5 areas of Binh Dinh Province are calling for investment: agriculture associated with agricultural processing;  industry associated with high-tech industry; services and logistics; development of coastal urban areas and tourism.

 According to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with transformation in many fields, Binh Dinh has many favorable conditions in terms of space and infrastructure to satisfy investors, this is also a good opportunity for German businesses, cooperate and participate in the economic development process of the province in the future. In particular, in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Binh Dinh is currently the only locality in Vietnam with a Science Urban Area. With the development orientation and attracting chip and AI manufacturing businesses to this area, the province's viewpoint is always ready and will create the most favorable conditions for businesses; including German businesses investing.

 Regarding the pharmaceutical field, Binh Dinh currently has Binh Dinh Pharmaceutical - Medical Equipment Joint Stock Company (Bidiphar) - one of the leading units in the pharmaceutical field, which has deployed a large infusion factory. In most countries, medicinal plants are grown under forest canopy to process pharmaceuticals.

 Binh Dinh has many vacant land areas along the coastal road, investors consider and can orient their investment in urban areas.  The province still has a lot of natural beauty, not much human impact, rich cuisine,...so it has strengths to develop tourism. Along with the economy, the province is also always interested in developing the fields of health and education.  Determining the quality of human resources is an important issue in the process of development and investment attraction, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan hopes that the members of the Working Group will act as a bridge so that Binh Dinh and Germany will have cooperation. Deeper coordination in the field of education and training;  develop skills for high school students; Support training for teachers and students in Binh Dinh;  thereby improving the quality of the province's human resources. Binh Dinh also wants German businesses to share experiences, advise and cooperate in investing in the construction of urban areas;  cooperate in the field of tourism, contributing to the long-term and sustainable development of the province.

 The Association for Economic Development and Foreign Trade of the Federal Republic of Germany (BWA) is a prestigious economic organization, with more than 1,300 member businesses. BWA focuses on economic and trade development based on other factors such as politics, business, culture and science and technology. It is a sponsor of the United Nations and Trade Development; and initiated the international trade point federation (WTPF) with more than 120 trade points in more than 70 countries around the world.  Visiting and working in Binh Dinh province, the delegation had the participation of famous German and international businesses in the fields of artificial intelligence, finance, auditing, pharmaceuticals, environment, education, and human resources. energy, information technology...
