Leaders of Binh Dinh province worked with UB General Trading FZC Trading Group (UAE)

(binhdinh.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of March 30, at the Provincial People's Committee Office, Mr. Ho Quoc Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, received and worked with Mr. Saif Ali Shahin Mohammed Altahri - General Director of UB General Trading FZC Group. Also attending the meeting were Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Representatives of leaders of relevant departments and branches of the province.

At the meeting, Mr. Saif Ali Shahin Mohammed was delighted with the province's respectful welcome to the group. UB General rading FZC Trading Group is one of the leading financial groups in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). He said he intends to implement two investment projects in Binh Dinh, which are an energy plant project and an international standard hotel construction project. He requested the Province to arrange to conduct a survey and select a suitable investment location, on that basis, the Group will implement the idea and speed up the necessary steps and procedures so that both projects can be implemented soon. .

In addition, for the energy plant project, the province provides more information related to Power Planning VIII, and supports the steps for the Group to implement in accordance with the regulations of the Vietnamese Government. Regarding hotel construction investment, the Province is requested to provide data on the number of tourists coming to Binh Dinh as well as tourism development directions in the future.

On the occasion of this working visit to Binh Dinh, Mr. Saif Ali Shahin Mohammed Altahri invited the leaders of Binh Dinh province to visit the UAE to further tighten the relationship and cooperation between the two sides on the basis of cooperation between the two countries.

At the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Ho Quoc Dung emphasized that with the signing of the Vietnam - UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, the UAE is currently Vietnam's largest trading partner in the Middle East region. In Binh Dinh, in 2023, export turnover to the UAE market will reach 1.6 million USD and import turnover from the UAE in 2023 will reach 3.6 million USD. The cooperative relationship between the two sides still has a lot of potential. The Provincial Party Secretary hopes that UB General Trading FZC will contribute to turning those potentials into reality.

Provincial Party Secretary Ho Quoc Dung said that for the two projects that the Group wants to implement, Binh Dinh province will create maximum conditions, first survey and select locations to implement the projects.

Accepting the invitation of Mr. Saif Ali Shahin Mohammed Altahri, Provincial Party Secretary Ho Quoc Dung said that Binh Dinh province will organize an investment promotion trip to the UAE later this year.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan affirmed that Binh Dinh has fully prepared the conditions for infrastructure, human resources and support policies. The head of the provincial government hopes that UB General Trading FZC Group will spend more time learning about the land, people, as well as the potentials and strengths to deploy more projects in Binh Dinh and the locality commits to the Group to always accompany the project implementation process.
