Program Tet reunion - Spring thanks party and Union tet market in 2025

(binhdinh.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of January 11, at Victory Square (Quy Nhon City), the Standing Committee of Binh Dinh Provincial Labor Federation opened the Program Tet reunion - Spring thanks party and Union tet market in 2025 for union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the province, with the motto: All union members and workers have Tet.

Attending the program were comrades: Huynh Thanh Xuan - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Le Kim Toan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Thi Phong Vu - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Tuan Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ly Tiet Hanh - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; representatives of leaders of departments, branches, sectors, socio-political organizations of the province; 550 union members and workers in Quy Nhon City. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the Provincial Labor Federation will provide support to more than 8,000 union members and workers in the province who are in difficult circumstances, have suffered from work-related accidents, occupational diseases, and serious illnesses, with a total support budget of nearly 7 billion VND. In particular, at the Program, the Organizing Committee presented gifts to 1,870 union members and workers (each gift worth 700,000 VND in cash). Of which, 200 union members and workers received an additional gift in kind, each worth 300,000 VND, and 720 union members and workers received vouchers to shop at the Trade Union Tet Market, each worth 300,000 VND. This is a practical and meaningful activity, demonstrating the care of the trade union organization for workers during the upcoming traditional Tet holiday, especially workers in difficult circumstances working at enterprises in the province.

The Provincial Federation of Labor authorized 15 grassroots trade union units directly above the grassroots level to provide support to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, those who have suffered work-related accidents, occupational diseases, and serious illnesses in their units.

Mr. Ha Duy Trung - Chairman of the Labor Federation presented a symbolic plaque to 15 direct superior union units at the grassroots level.

The "Union Tet Market" program took place over 02 days (January 11 and 12, 2025), with 40 booths, with the participation of 20 units and enterprises. Of which, 15 units and enterprises participated in selling essential goods at preferential prices to serve the Tet shopping needs of workers, 03 units provided free health screening consultation, beauty care, social housing purchase consultation at the Union Institution area, 02 units provided free "Beautiful hair to welcome spring" and calligraphy to celebrate spring, organized folk games on Tet. In particular, the Organizing Committee will organize a lucky draw program for union members and workers participating in purchasing goods at the booths. Many gifts will be given to union members and workers, with a total bonus of over 52 million VND.
