Provincial leaders offer flowers and incense to commemorate the 236th anniversary of the Ngoc Hoi - Dong Da Victory
On the afternoon of February 1 (the 4th day of the Lunar New Year 2025), the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province solemnly held a flower and incense offering ceremony to commemorate the 236th anniversary of the Ngoc Hoi - Dong Da Victory (1789 - 2025).

Attendance at the ceremony were comrades: Ho Quoc Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Kim Toan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Pham Anh Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Thi Phong Vu - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Committee of the People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; former provincial leaders; representatives of provincial departments and branches; leaders of districts, towns and cities in the province; Tay Son Association in Ho Chi Minh City, delegates of An Khe Town (Gia Lai Province), and a large number of people and tourists.

At the flower offering ceremony at the Emperor Quang Trung Monument (in the premises of the Quang Trung Museum, Tay Son District), on behalf of the provincial leaders, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh reviewed the spirit of uprising of the Tay Son movement and the Tay Son dynasty associated with the great contributions of Emperor Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue, contributing to educating the tradition of patriotism for all classes of people, especially the young generation in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

In the spring of the year of Ky Dau (1789), the Tay Son army, under the skillful command and invincible spirit of Emperor Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue, launched a lightning-fast attack, defeating 290,000 Qing (China) troops and liberating the capital city of Thang Long.

The victory of Ngoc Hoi - Dong Da is an immortal heroic epic in the history of the struggle, building and defending the country of the Vietnamese people, a profound crystallization of the tradition of patriotism, solidarity and indomitable will of the Vietnamese people for thousands of years. With this great victory, our country under the genius leadership of Emperor Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue crushed the dream of invasion of the Qing invaders, liberated the country, and maintained national independence.

After the flower offering ceremony to the Emperor Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue Monument, provincial leaders and delegates performed the incense offering ceremony at the Tay Son Tam Kiet Temple (in the Quang Trung Museum campus) to commemorate and express gratitude for the merits of the Tay Son Tam Kiet and the civil and military mandarins of the Tay Son Dynasty; and to honor the glorious achievements of Emperor Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue.

Previously, provincial leaders and delegates respectfully offered incense at the Kinh Thien Temple (Binh Tuong Commune, Tay Son District), the Tay Son Tam Kiet Parents Temple (Go Lang Relic, Binh Thanh Commune, Tay Son District).
