The Provincial People s Committee and Vingroup Corporation signed a memorandum of understanding on comprehensive cooperation in promoting green transformation

Attending the ceremony, on the side of Binh Dinh province were comrades: Pham Anh Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and leaders of relevant departments and branches of the province and the People's Committee of Quy Nhon city. On the side of Vingroup Corporation, there was Ms. Le Thi Thu Thuy - Vice President of Vingroup Corporation, General Director of VinFast Global; and leaders of a number of partners of Vingroup and VinFast participating in this project.

According to the memorandum of understanding signed between the two parties, Vingroup Corporation will research and propose solutions to promote Green Tourism, Green Industry, Green Agriculture, Green Urban Infrastructure, Green Transport and Green Lifestyle in Binh Dinh. The goal of both parties is to reduce net emissions to 0 (Net Zero), promote socio-economic development and people's lives in a sustainable direction. Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee will accompany and call on people in the whole province to respond to the campaign "Fierce Vietnamese Spirit - For a Green Future" that Vingroup is launching; support and create conditions for people to switch to using cars, electric motorbikes or green means of transport such as electric taxis, electric buses. Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee will also support and introduce to V-GREEN Company suitable locations to develop a network of charging stations in the province to serve the people.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan highly appreciated the potential, scale, professionalism and open-mindedness of Vingroup, especially the efforts of the Group in promoting green transformation with the campaign called "Fierce Vietnamese Spirit - For a Green Future". The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Vingroup to support resources, coordinate with the Department of Planning and Investment, Department of Transport and relevant departments of the province to develop the Green Transformation and Green Growth Project of Binh Dinh province for the period 2025 - 2030. In the immediate future, the province assigned the Department of Transport to preside with the Department of Construction and Chairmen of districts, towns and cities to support Vingroup to soon deploy investment in charging stations that the province has introduced, to be completed in the first quarter of 2025.

 Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan affirmed that Binh Dinh is ready to welcome all innovative, digital transformation and green transformation projects for the benefit of the community. Therefore, the province is very pleased to cooperate with a business that has reached the world level and is pioneering in promoting the green economy like Vingroup. In addition to developing a green transport ecosystem using electric vehicles, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Group's leaders to soon send a working delegation to Binh Dinh to directly survey locations introduced by the province to implement projects in key areas such as real estate, services, tourism, industry, healthcare, education, and information technology in the province, completing the survey and proposing projects in 2024.

Ms. Le Thi Thu Thuy - Vice President of Vingroup, General Director of VinFast said that Binh Dinh province has many advantages to develop the economy in a green and sustainable direction. The province has had many initiatives and drastic actions in green transformation, creating many positive changes in recent times. With the companionship and support of the Provincial People's Committee and the majority of people, Vingroup, with the mission of promoting green and sustainable economic development, will bring high-class, quality, environmentally friendly products and services, contributing to the economic development of the province and improving the quality of life for people; first of all, developing a green transportation ecosystem using electric vehicles.

On this occasion, the leaders of the Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee and Vingroup Corporation witnessed the signing ceremony of contracts between related companies to implement the recently signed agreements. Specifically, FGF Company, which operates in the field of trading and leasing new/used electric cars, signed a contract to lease a large number of cars with Holitech Company - a local enterprise providing smart technology solutions in tourism and transportation. Holitech will lease 1,000 VinFast electric cars from FGF in 2024 and 2025 to put into operation a high-quality transportation service for people and tourists in Binh Dinh.

V-GREEN Global Charging Station Development Joint Stock Company signed a contract with Lado Transport and Tourism Joint Stock Company (Lado Taxi) to deploy the V-GREEN franchise charging station model in the province. Accordingly, Lado will be licensed by V-GREEN to develop and operate charging stations under a revenue-sharing cooperation model, contributing to quickly supplementing and completing the infrastructure of public charging stations, meeting the needs of people in the province
