At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan said that Binh Dinh province has connections with a number of regions of Korea. Quy Nhon city has more than 28 years of friendly cooperation with Yongsan district, Seoul city, Korea.  Implementing the strategy of linking with the aviation industry to attract tourists and contribute to promoting the development of provincial tourism, in recent times, Binh Dinh has implemented many activities to call for investment, open charter flights, organize many attractive cultural, sports and tourism events to attract tourists to Binh Dinh by air. In particular, in 2020, there were many charter flights connecting Cheongju (Korea) and Quy Nhon bringing 1,160 passengers to Binh Dinh for tourism and relaxation. In addition, in the past year, the province also organized many investment promotion delegations in Korea to promote Quy Nhon - Binh Dinh tourism to the Korean tourist market.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan said that Quy Nhon - Binh Dinh is currently one of the attractive and safe tourist destinations for many domestic and foreign tourists, Phu Cat Airport is also being invested in upgrading and expanding; these are good conditions for Korean Airlines to promote cooperation with domestic and foreign travel businesses to organize charter flights to bring Korean tourists to Binh Dinh and vice versa in the near future. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee committed that tourists coming to Binh Dinh will be guaranteed 4 safe and 1 no, which are traffic safety, food safety, property safety and price safety; no begging, soliciting.

Mr. Kim Kye Yong - Chief Representative of Korean Airlines in Ho Chi Minh City thanked the warm welcome of the provincial leaders and departments and branches during his working time in the province; at the same time, highly appreciated the potential, advantages and tourism landscape of Binh Dinh.  With its existing potential and advantages, Binh Dinh needs to correctly position its domestic and international tourist markets according to the focus, trends, and tastes of each market to have appropriate approaches and promotions. Korean Air is eager to accompany the province to connect flights from Korea to Quy Nhon - Binh Dinh in the future, and believes that the government and relevant agencies need to support to realize this goal and develop sustainably.
