Provincial leaders visit Quy Nhon City Martyrs' Cemetery
(binhdinh.gov.vn) - On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2024) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024), on the morning of August 30, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quy Nhon City and Quy Nhon City solemnly held a ceremony to visit Quy Nhon City Martyrs' Cemetery.
Attending the ceremony were comrades: Ho Quoc Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Thi Phong Vu - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; former provincial leaders of different periods; comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; representatives of the leaders of departments, branches, armed forces of the province and Quy Nhon city.

In the solemn atmosphere of the ceremony, the provincial leaders and delegates observed a minute of silence to commemorate the great contributions of the heroic martyrs, the outstanding sons of the country who did not spare their blood and bones, bravely fought and sacrificed for the cause of national liberation, national reunification, and for the happiness of the people. At the same time, we vow to continue to train, strive, follow the tradition of previous generations, successfully complete the tasks, unite, and build Binh Dinh province to be more and more civilized and beautiful.

After the incense offering ceremony, the provincial leaders and delegates went to burn incense on each grave of the heroic martyrs.
