Conference to promote investment, trade and tourism development with Indian partners in Binh Dinh province

 Attending the conference, on the part of the Ministries and Central branches, there were representatives of leaders of the Foreign Investment Department - Ministry of Planning and Investment, Vietnam National Tourism Administration, Department of Economic Synthesis - Ministry of Foreign Affairs and one  number of relevant agencies and units.

 On the side of Binh Dinh province, there are comrades in the Provincial Party Committee; Standing People's Council, leaders of People's Committee, Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Representatives of leaders of departments, divisions and branches; Representative leaders of district party committees, town party committees, city party committees, People's Committees of districts, towns, cities and agencies and units in the province.

 Attending the Conference were also delegates from Indian federations, associations, and businesses;  associations and businesses of Binh Dinh province.

 Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Quoc Dung spoke at the Conference.

 Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Ho Quoc Dung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council said that in recent years, implementing the foreign policies and guidelines of the Party and State of Vietnam  South, Binh Dinh province has been actively integrating internationally, promoting promotion activities, calling for and attracting foreign investment, trade, and tourism, with special emphasis on investors.  Indian investors, businesses, and partners. The province has received tourism experts sent by India, strengthening connections with Indian travel companies to support the promotion of Binh Dinh tourism information, so that Indian tourists know  coming to Binh Dinh more and more.  Although initial results have been achieved, in general, trade and tourism cooperation and investment attraction for Indian businesses in the province are still quite modest, low scale, and the fields are not yet diverse and not compatible, commensurate with the potentials, strengths and desires of both parties.

 Binh Dinh province has determined its vision and future development direction to be a center of science and technology and innovation, an important place to apply artificial intelligence in Vietnam;  Sustainable economic development is based on the pillars: manufacturing and processing industry, information technology industry and AI; high quality tourism; Organic agriculture and effective logistics system. These fields are all India's strengths. At the same time, the influences and interference between Indian and Vietnamese cultures are boldly shown in Binh Dinh, which was once the ancient capital of the Kingdom of Champa, where a unique Cham tower system is still preserved. Tens of thousands of artifacts carry influences from the Indus River civilization. Provincial Party Secretary Ho Quoc Dung believes that this is the key to attracting the Indian business community, people, and tourists to learn, travel, explore as well as seek investment opportunities in Binh Dinh,  opens a new phase of good development, contributing to promoting and deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and India in general, and the cooperative relationship between Binh Dinh province and Indian businesses, partners in particular.

Provincial Party Secretary Ho Quoc Dung expressed his wish that after this conference, investors will continue to learn, survey and be able to promptly choose potential investment projects in Binh Dinh. Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Quoc Dung affirmed that when investing in Binh Dinh, businesses and investors will be created with the most favorable conditions for successful project implementation and sustainable development.

 Speaking at the Conference, Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Do Thanh Trung said this is a very meaningful event, an opportunity to share the potential and advantages of Vietnam in general and Binh Dinh province in  separately, as well as solutions to improve the business investment environment of Vietnam and the province to support Indian investors.

 With a heroic traditional history, unique potential advantages of the land "heaven for literature and martial arts", especially the spirit of overcoming difficulties and self-reliance, Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Do Thanh Trung believes  that Binh Dinh province will truly become a potential destination for foreign investors, including India. The Deputy Minister emphasized that the Ministry of Planning and Investment is ready to accompany other ministries and branches to support Binh Dinh in turning the province's ideas and determination to develop into reality, and at the same time committed to creating all favorable conditions and coordinating Resolve difficulties and obstacles in the process of understanding and implementing investment activities so that Indian businesses can make successful, sustainable, and long-term investments in Binh Dinh province, aiming forstability sustainable development  of the province and prosperity of the two countries.

 Speaking at the Conference, Consul General of India in City. Ho Chi Minh Madan Mohan Sethi shared that he had the opportunity to visit the city. Quy Nhon many times and found that this place has great potential to develop large and small industries in many fields, including manufacturing.  Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi said that the Indian Consulate is ready to support connecting Vietnamese businesses with leading Indian corporations in the fields of smart agriculture, aquaculture, infrastructure, IT, healthcare, education and many other fields. To promote business cooperation between the two countries, Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi encouraged Vietnamese businessmen to connect with Indian partners at this conference.  Besides, spend time discussing opportunities to import and export products and seek cooperation potential to develop the business together.  The Consulate General of India is committed to continuing its role as a bridge for the business communities of the two countries, creating favorable conditions for import and export activities and attracting investment from India's diverse fields to Vietnam.  .

 At the conference, delegates exchanged and shared ideas that contributed to promoting investment attraction, trade and tourism development between Binh Dinh province and Indian partners.

 Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, provided more information about the development goals and vision of Binh Dinh province, as well as the strengths and necessary conditions that the province  has proactively prepared to welcome investors to Binh Dinh.

 Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan said that the potential and advantages of the province, people and culture of Binh Dinh are similar to the culture and suitable for the investment and business needs of businesses and investors comes from India.  It is known that Indian businesses are mostly multinational companies, large corporations, with economic potential and operating in fields that the province is in demand such as: information technology, software manufacturing. software, pharmaceuticals, AI, biotechnology, nanotechnology, telecommunications, shipbuilding and aviation, trade in services, tourism...Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan wishes the Indian Consulate General in Thanh Hoa to  Ho Chi Minh City and Indian agencies, associations, and businesses continue to support and help promote the image, potential, and strengths of Binh Dinh province to Indian friends, colleagues, and investors; Promote and call for potential investors to invest in Binh Dinh; Support and help the province organize investment promotion events in India in the coming time.

 The conference also organized the signing of 04 further Memorandums of Cooperation between associations and businesses of Binh Dinh province and Indian associations and businesses.
