 The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee believes that through events held in the city.  Quy Nhon both affects residents and tourists. For VnExpress Marathon Quy Nhon, the professionalism and quality of the tournament system has created attraction and more and more people come to Binh Dinh to participate, creating economic, cultural, social, and tourism values.

 The official tournament takes place on June 23, with 8,000 athletes. Athletes participating in running the full marathon 42 km, half marathon 21 km, 10 km, 5 km respectively with starting times of 3 hours, 4 hours, 4 hours 30 minutes and 4 hours 45 minutes at Nguyen Tat Square  Wall.
