The Provincial People's Committee worked with Tuy Phuoc district on the socio-economic situation in the first 6 months of the year, implementing key tasks in the last 6 months of 2024

 According to the report of Tuy Phuoc District People's Committee, in 2024, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the District People's Committee to implement 17 targets. In addition, to serve the work of directing and operating the District Party Committee, the District People's Council assigned the District People's Committee to implement 17 additional targets.  On that basis, the District People's Committee issued Decision No. 12689/QD-UBND dated December 27, 2023 assigning socio-economic development plan targets for 2024 (a total of 34 targets) to sectors and branches. Communes and towns carry out specific implementation on a monthly and quarterly basis. All targets assigned by the District People's Committee to sectors, communes and towns are as high or equal to the targets assigned by the province, of which 04 targets assigned by the district are higher than the province.

 The district's socio-economic situation in the first 6 months of 2024 achieved positive results. Specifically, out of the total 17 targets assigned by the province, the implementation results in the first 6 months of the year have 12/17 targets reaching 50% or more. Of the total 17 targets assigned by the District People's Council, the District People's Committee has achieved 10/17 targets, with 7 targets being evaluated at the end of the year.

 Specifically, in the first 6 months of 2024, the total product value (according to 2010 comparative prices) in Tuy Phuoc district reached more than 5,803 billion VND, an increase of 8.25% over the same period in 2023, reaching 44.61%. compared to the year's plan; Growth rate ranked 6th out of 11 districts, towns and cities; contributing 7.53% to the province's economic scale.  Total state budget balance revenue in the district in the first 6 months of 2024 reached 286,079 million VND. Retail revenue of goods and services reached more than 5,679 billion VND, an increase of 13.34% over the same period, reaching 50.7% of the year's plan. Created jobs for more than 4,000 workers, reaching 88.89% of the year's plan, an increase of 19.35% over the same period.  Regarding new rural construction, the Provincial People's Committee recognized Phuoc Hung commune as meeting advanced NTM standards and Phuoc Quang model NTM commune in 2023. Focusing on implementing the criteria of advanced NTM commune and model NTM commune, the results through Review: Phuoc Hiep commune: achieved 14/19 high-tech rural areas criteria; Phuoc Loc commune: achieved 12/19 high-tech rural areas criteria;  Phuoc Hung commune still has 3 criteria that have not yet met model aquaculture.

 In addition, the district organized vocational training for 576 workers, reaching 144.72% of the year's plan. The number of people participating in voluntary social insurance is 1,592 people, reaching 96.48% of the year's plan; increased 2.05% over the same period. The rate of workers participating in social insurance reached 9.01% of the workforce in the age group participating in social insurance, reaching 95.65% of the yearly plan, an increase of 0.33 over the same period. The remaining targets in the fields of culture, society, and internal affairs were all achieved and exceeded the set targets, military delivery reached 100% of the province's assigned target...

To achieve the assigned targets, Tuy Phuoc District People's Committee set general goals and tasks such as: Drastically and effectively implementing the guiding viewpoint of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee "Be an example, be disciplined,  focus, breakthrough”; in which: setting an example and discipline are decisive factors and are associated with the responsibilities of heads of agencies, units and localities.  Promote administrative reform, with the focus on reforming administrative procedures to better address the needs of organizations, citizens and businesses; Taking people and businesses as the service center. Direct the implementation of basic completion of criteria for newly advanced rural districts according to the set of criteria for the period 2021-2025. Complete the Tuy Phuoc urban planning project for the period up to 2035 and orientation to 2050;  Effectively implement the plan to build Tuy Phuoc district by 2025 to meet class IV urban criteria. Creating a breakthrough in the environment, building Tuy Phuoc "Bright - green - clean - beautiful", the focus is on waste classification and treatment at the source...

 At the meeting, representatives of leaders of departments, divisions and branches discussed specific targets assigned to branches and localities of the district; At the same time, suggest and orient breakthrough tasks and solutions to help Tuy Phuoc district successfully implement targets in the last 6 months of 2024.

 Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lam Hai Giang requested departments and branches to pay attention, support and create favorable conditions for Tuy Phuoc district to complete its targets in the last 6 months of 2024.

 To successfully implement the targets in 2024, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that the district need to focus on overcoming shortcomings, limitations and promoting local strengths.  In addition, urgently prepare and submit for approval the Tuy Phuoc urban planning project for the period up to 2035 and orientation to 2050 and develop an appropriate implementation plan (completed in 2024). with the Provincial General Plan. In particular, we are interested in implementing a number of breakthrough projects in the near future.

 Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lam Hai Giang noted that the district focuses on promoting links in the organic agricultural production chain; Focus on restructuring the agricultural sector towards agricultural economics associated with high technology application and digital transformation to create high-value agricultural products (Flowers, VietGap vegetables, rice)... combined  tourism service; develop an effective cooperative model; orientation to form concentrated livestock farming areas and invest in high technology;  Research the vocational change project for people; Implement social security policies well, promptly resolve regimes and policies, contributing to stabilizing people's lives; develop and effectively implement the national target program on sustainable poverty reduction; Focus resources on exploiting the potential of local tourist areas....
