 At the meeting, the two sides discussed the contents of the cooperation agreement between the two provinces for the period 2021-2025 with comprehensive cooperation in many fields.  After the signing, the two sides coordinated to implement cooperation contents, initially achieving a number of important results, specifically as follows: (1) Regarding education and training: From school year 2021-From 2022 to the 2023-2024 school year, Binh Dinh province has granted 40 full scholarships for Salavan province students to study at universities and colleges in Binh Dinh province (including 15 university scholarships and 02 university scholarships). Master's degree at Quy Nhon University; 17 vocational college degree at Quy Nhon College of Technology; 06 college degree at Medical College. In addition to training, schools are always interested in organizing many cultural and sports exchange activities between Vietnamese students and Lao students; Create conditions for Lao students to participate in cultural exchange activities, visit scenic spots and historical sites in the province to help Lao students understand more about the culture and customs of the Vietnamese people, general and Binh Dinh province in particular. (2) Other fields: The authorities of the two provinces have actively coordinated to implement the cooperation contents that the leaders of the two provinces signed. The Department of Tourism of Binh Dinh province welcomed a delegation from Salavan province to visit and conduct field surveys at a number of tourist destinations in Binh Dinh to strengthen tourism development links between the two provinces.  Department of Industry and Trade of Binh Dinh province organizes an online exhibition program of typical products of Binh Dinh province with Salavan province and Southern Laos provinces, helping businesses from both sides connect, exchange, buy and sell, and promote  products and goods in the online environment. The Department of Foreign Affairs of Binh Dinh province coordinates to support procedures related to funding for Salavan province to build friendship projects; Coordinate in recruiting and receiving students from Salavan province to study in Binh Dinh province,....

Plans and orientations for implementing cooperation contents between the two provinces in the coming time, specifically: In 2024 and 2025, Binh Dinh province continues to promote the policy of implementing cooperation with the Southern provinces of Laos in general and Salavan province in particular according to the signed Memorandum of Cooperation, with some main contents such as: continuing to provide scholarships for students from Southern Laos provinces to study in Binh Dinh province; coordinate to complete and put into use the friendship project "3-storey classroom block of the Grassroots Health Protection Center of Salavan province"; Effectively implement cooperation content in the fields of health, industry and trade, investment, agriculture, culture and sports, youth exchange, information - communication, science - technology  and foreign affairs. To effectively implement the cooperation program, the leaders of the two provinces will continue to strengthen and develop the comprehensive cooperative relationship to promote potential, advantages and bring practical benefits to the people of the two provinces; Maintain delegation exchange activities, regularly visit and promptly share to continuously tighten the special friendship and solidarity between the two sides; Continue to pay attention to directing agencies and units of Salavan province to actively coordinate with relevant departments and branches of Binh Dinh province to effectively implement the contents of the Memorandum of Cooperation for the period of 2021 - 2025 signed between the two provinces; At the same time, continue to pay attention and create favorable conditions for businesses in Binh Dinh province to invest, produce, do business and implement projects in Sekong province, promptly support to remove difficulties and obstacles to help  businesses operate effectively, contributing to creating jobs for local people and making practical contributions to the development of each side. On the occasion of Bunpimay Tet, on behalf of the leaders of the Party Committee, government and people of Binh Dinh province, comrade Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang sent to the provincial leaders and people of Salavan province in particular and the people of Laos a prosperous new year. good health, happiness and success; congratulate and share pride in the achievements that the Party Committee, government and people of Salavan province have achieved in recent years; We believe that Salavan province and the brotherly country of Laos will continue to succeed on the journey to building a country of peace, independence, democracy, unity and prosperity.
