The delegation of Binh Dinh province visited and worked with Dutch businesses
On July 16, in Groningen province (Kingdom of the Netherlands), the province's delegation led by Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Kim Toan visited and worked with Eemshaven Port and North Seaweed Company. Welcoming and working with the delegation were Mr. Erik Bertholet, Sales Director of Eemshaven Port and a representative of the North Seaweed Company's leadership.
Attending the meeting were Mr. Ngo Huong Nam, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam in the Netherlands; Ms. Vo Thi Ngoc Diep, Vietnam Trade Counselor in the Netherlands; Mr. Evert Jan Schouwstra, Director of Leeuwaden World Trade Center; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang and representatives of some departments and branches of the province.
At the meeting, Mr. Erik Bertholet, Business Director of Eemshaven Port, informed: Eemshaven Port operates according to the ecological and cyclic port model, is one of the leading general ports in the Netherlands, with a strategic location on freight and connections with Nordic countries and Germany. Eemshaven Port has an area of more than 2,800 hectares with main industries: Offshore wind power (currently the port has 432 wind turbines, capacity of 2.8 GW and is implementing 22 projects with a scale of 1,461 turbines, capacity of 10.2 GW), port services, chemical industry, battery production, data and other manufacturing and processing industries. Currently, Google Group and a number of leading information technology corporations have data storage centers at Eemshaven Port.

The representative of North Seaweed Company introduced the Company's operations at Leeuwaden Port and said: North Seaweed is the leading Dutch enterprise in the production, technology transfer and trading of products from seaweed. The company hopes to soon cooperate with Binh Dinh province to implement a project on seaweed production.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang expressed his impression of the scale and activities of Eamshaven Port; At the same time, information about Binh Dinh's socio-economic development orientation; Operational situation and planning orientation of general ports and priority areas to attract and support investment of the province. Binh Dinh wishes to develop cooperative relations with Eamshaven Port in the coming time, to exchange experiences and learn the operating and business model of Eamshaven Port. Provincial leaders also appreciated the development orientation of North Seaweed Company and invited company leaders to come to Binh Dinh soon to survey and promote the implementation of specific projects.
