Attending the talk were Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Tung, Vice Chairwoman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Tran Thi Thu Ha, leaders of departments and agencies in the province, prof. Tran Thanh Van and his spouse prof. Le Kim Ngoc and a lot of students and those loving physics.

A lot of people joined the talk.

At the talk, prof. Jerome Friedman had a presentation on the road to Quark and how to discover Quark, its structure as well as how to classify basic particles and its size, etc…; at the same time, he also let all students and those loving physics know how to calculate basic particles in each body.

After the presentation, students and those loving science raised questions on the connection of particles, their names, the relation between Quark and Higgs boson (also known as God particle), the application of Quark to real life, etc...

As known, prof. Jerome Friedman, Russian-born American, born in 1930, works as a lecturer at Chicago University. In 1990, he was awarded the Nobel Prize with the great discovery of Quark. The previous year, he was awarded the Panofsky Prize, an annual award for scientists throughout the world with outstanding achievements in the field of particle physics.
