Provincial delegates participating in Thai language course in Thailand: Honor and Responsibility

On the morning of March 9, 2015, Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Ho Quoc Dung met with provincial delegates that will be trained Thai language in Thailand.

The delegation includes 20 officials and cadres: 15 provincial officials, 03 cadres of BIDV and 02 lecturers of Quy Nhon University. It is expected that the delegation will depart to Thailand on the morning of March 14 and the duration of their studies in Thailand is 8 months, with a total fee of 930 USD/person/month. After completing the course at Udon Thani Rajabhat University, they will come back to Binh Dinh and be dedicated to the province. This is the first time Binh Dinh Province has sent as many as 20 officials and cadres to study abroad.

Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Ho Quoc Dung took his interest in policies, regulations, means, class organization, and accommodation in Thailand. After the reports given by leaders of Home Affairs Department and Foreign Affairs Department regarding the issues the Chairman concerned, Chairman Ho Quoc Dung emphasized that Binh Dinh is a poor province, having adverse consequence of the war and now it is gradually revived and developed. The province is calling for foreign investment, in which there is Nhon Hoi Petrochemical Refinery Complex Project, invested by PTT Public Company Limited, with a total investment capital of 27 billion USD.

The selection of officials to study in Thailand is the provincial orientation so as to serve this project as well as the provincial socio-economic development in the coming time. These officials have to know that this is both honored and responsible with the province. Chairman Ho Quoc Dung requested these officials would severely attend the course in Thailand as well as work more efficiently when completing the course.

Representative of the delegation expressed his thanks to Binh Dinh leaders for their concern, and committed to solidarity and mutual support when studying in Thailand and have more contribution when returning the home province.
