Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee receives Nebraska Director of Economic Development (USA)

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan presents a gift to the Nebraska Director of Economic Development Anthony Goins

At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan introduced the potential and advantages of the province and the areas in which the province is attracting investment. Binh Dinh has been affirming its important geoeconomic and geopolitical position for the Central - Central Highlands region and Viet Nam. Currently, the province focuses on investing in completing technical infrastructure in all fields, including transport, urban space development, promoting the development of trade, tourism, services, and attracting investment. The province is also investing in completing the infrastructure of economic zones and industrial parks, in which Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh is modernly planned, complying with all environmental and sustainability criteria, in order to create competitive advantages and provide comprehensive solutions for investors.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee wishes to continue to cooperate with the state of Nebraska for mutual development, so he would like Mr. Anthony Goins to support the promotion and introduction of Binh Dinh's image, potential, strengths, needs and development orientation to US partners and investors; at the same time, as a bridge to bring investors to survey and explore opportunities for cooperation and investment in Binh Dinh in the coming time.

Mr. Anthony Goins, the Nebraska Director of Economic Development thanked for warm welcome to the delegation and wished to invite provincial leaders and provincial department leaders to Nebraska to strengthen the cooperation between the two sides in the time to come.

The Director appreciated the potentials and advantages of Binh Dinh province and said that, with a favorable geographical location, synchronous transport infrastructure, industrial zones and clusters invested, upgraded and completed, Binh Dinh province will attract US businesses to explore opportunities and investment cooperation; at the same time, it is committed to strengthening the connection, introduction and promotion of information about Binh Dinh province to partners, businesses, investors of the Nebraska, US business associations and corporations to learn and invest in Binh Dinh province in fields and industries that suit the interests of both parties, and strengthen the cooperation between Vietnam and the United States as well as between Binh Dinh province and the state of Nebraska in the next time.
         
Within the framework of the business trip in the province, the delegation worked with Branch of Cargill Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Binh Dinh and Quy Nhon University, and they also conducted a field survey at Quy Nhon Port and Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh.
