International scientific conference “Precise theory for precise experiments at LHC and at future colliders”

The conference occurs at the International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE) from September 26 till October 2, 2016. The conference entitled “Precise theory for precise experiments at LHC and at future colliders” attracted about 90 scientists from 19 countries in the world. Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh attended and gave a welcome speech at the opening session.

The conference is in the framework of “the 12^th Rencontres du Vietnam” in 2016, including international conferences, workshops and courses in physics, organized by Rencontres du Vietnam, Vietnam Ministry of Science and Technology and Binh Dinh People’s Committee.

The purpose of the conference is to discuss on the topics in particle physics. The conference attracted well-known experiment scientists at LHC and theoretical scientists all over the world on the topics: ATLAS, CMS and LHCb; the consideration and implementation under the method that can reach the most precise results.

Prof. Tran Thanh Van – Chairman of Rencontres du Vietnam hoped a long list of scientific results related LHC would be announced. The presentations updated theoretical results and the discussion of experiment scientists helped us to clearly identify important issues that need to have precise prediction on theory. The conference attracted the best experts and young scientists from Europe, America, Asia and Australia – key factors to encourage and promote the scientific cooperation in the future.

Speaking at the opening session, Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh highly valued the objectives of the international scientific conference “Precise theory for precise experiments at LHC and at future colliders”, organized at the International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE). He also said the conference would be a good opportunity for national and international scientists to meet one another, discuss scientific issues; at the same time, enhance exchanges, share experience and co-operate one another in scientific research in the future.
