Visiting the Provincial Military Command, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan listened to the unit's leaders report on the implementation of military and defense tasks. In 2024, the Provincial Military Command has comprehensively deployed tasks in accordance with the Party's viewpoints and guidelines, the State's policies and laws, in accordance with the actual situation in the locality.  The national defense foundation, the national defense posture associated with the people's security posture, the national border defense and the potentials in the defense area are increasingly solidly built and consolidated. The overall quality and combat strength of the armed forces are improved. Thereby, contributing to maintaining political security and social order and safety, creating favorable conditions for the socio-economic development of the province. The provincial Military Command said that in 2025, it will continue to coordinate well with forces, departments, branches and localities in the province to strictly maintain combat readiness; grasp the situation, maintain stability in the area; organize drills of plans; prepare forces and means to be ready to perform tasks when ordered;  prepare and carry out training well... In the immediate future, organize well the activities to celebrate the Spring Festival, welcome the Lunar New Year of At Ty and celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025) safely, economically and with high combat readiness, the Provincial Military Command ensures to maintain 50% of the troops on duty during Tet, units and district levels maintain 70% of the troops on duty.

At the visit, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan acknowledged and highly appreciated the results of the successful completion of the tasks in 2024 of the Provincial Military Command, contributing to the overall success in the socio-economic development of the province. At the same time, he requested the Provincial Military Command to continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the Party's directives and resolutions on the strategy of protecting the Fatherland in the new situation in the coming time;  Proactively advise the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to build a national defense posture, associated with the people's security posture; build an increasingly strong defense area.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan emphasized that 2025 is the last year of the term, with many opportunities, advantages and many intertwined challenges; is the year of acceleration and breakthrough to successfully implement the goals and tasks of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the Provincial Party Committee. The whole country and the whole province join in with a spirit of urgency and speed.

In that spirit, the head of the provincial government requested the Provincial Military Command to also change its way of thinking and working, and work together in the province's socio-economic activities. Closely follow and focus on implementing and completing well the local defense and military tasks, combat readiness tasks assigned by the Ministry of National Defense; participate in natural disaster prevention, search and rescue; increase the on-duty force, ready to respond in all situations. Strictly maintain the regime of combat readiness, command duty, shift duty, combat duty, air defense duty, patrol and guard duty, grasp the local situation... At the same time, proactively apply information technology in management, training, and natural disaster and flood prevention. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan also noted that during the Lunar New Year 2025, the Provincial Military Command needs to prepare a good combat readiness plan, not to be passive and surprised;  Prepare well for the military handover ceremony, training launch in 2025 to ensure quantity, quality and well perform the work of organizing fireworks displays at locations in the province. On the other hand, take care of the regime for officers, soldiers of the unit and the force on duty during Tet.

On the occasion of the traditional Tet holiday of the nation, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan wished all officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command a new year of peace, prosperity, good health, and excellent completion of assigned tasks.

Accepting the direction of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the leaders of the Provincial Military Command thanked the provincial leaders for their attention, and promised to continue to promote the tradition, well perform the tasks assigned by the Party, State and people in 2025./.
