 Speaking at the opening of the workshop, on behalf of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee introduced some key features about geographical location, potential and strengths in natural resourcess, minerals, potential for socio-economic development of Binh Dinh… He said: Binh Dinh is a province with a strategic location, located in the center of the North - South axis;  have a convenient transport infrastructure system, including road, railway, sea and air;  is the nearest and most convenient gateway to the East Sea of ​​the Central Highlands provinces (Vietnam), Southern Laos, Northeast Cambodia and Thailand.  Binh Dinh province has favorable conditions for marine economic development, potential to become a center for developing services in transportation, transshipment, goods transit, seaports, logistics, great potential for sea and island tourism.  Cultural history;  many precious mineral resources and potential for energy development (hydroelectricity, wind power)... At the same time, Binh Dinh also has abundant human resources with a population of about  1.5 million people, with about 60%  in working age;  there are 03 universities, 15 colleges, intermediate schools, vocational training centers...

Besides, Binh Dinh is investing, upgrading and completing socio-economic infrastructure to be ready to welcome investors, especially infrastructure of economic zones and industrial zones with a total area of ​​15,900 ha and infrastructure of industrial zones.  with a total area of ​​2,042 hectares.  In particular, the province focused on directing and accelerating the implementation of the Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial - Urban - Service Park Project, with a scale of 1,425 hectares, total investment capital of about 300 million USD in Canh Vinh commune, district Van Canh.  Currently, this industrial park is modernly planned, complies with all environmental and sustainability criteria, in order to create competitive advantages and provide comprehensive solutions for investors...
