Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Ho Quoc Dung meeting with the Consul General of Viet Nam in Osaka (Japan)

The Consul General of Viet Nam in Osaka (Japan) (white shirt, with glasses) met with leaders of Binh Dinh Province.

The meeting was also attended by Mr. Le Huu Loc, Former Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Chairman of Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association of the province, Ms. Tran Thi Thu Ha, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee, and the leaders of related departments and agencies.

At the meeting, Mr. Tran Duc Binh, the Consul General of Viet Nam in Osaka (Japan), was given some information on the provincial trade promotion and investment cooperation activities between Binh Dinh and Japanese enterprises. In agricultural field, the province has received such support and technology transfer for exploitation, storage of oceanic tunas from Kato Hitoshi General Office Co., Ltd (Japan). In the coming time, the province would receive 25 sets of equipment for catching oceanic tunas from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). For labor exports, with the aim of training workers to approach the technology, the engineering, and the work awareness from Japan, Construction Joint-Stock Company (CC47) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with IBCA Trade Union and Kushima Construction Group in order to train such fields as construction, food processing, and aquaculture. For education and training, Josai International University committed to admitting and creating favorable conditions for Binh Dinh students to study at this university. Besides, the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province agreed that Quang Trung University in collaboration with Aomori Chuo Gakuin University (ACGU) would open the department of Japanese language.

In the future, the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province would continue organizing trade promotion programs in order to attract and call for such enterprises in Osaka, Wakayama, Hyogo, etc. (Japan) to invest in the province.

At the meeting, Mr. Tran Duc Binh, the Consul General of Viet Nam in Osaka (Japan), also agreed to help publicize the image, the potential and advantages of the province, act as a bridge to link Binh Dinh with foreign enterprises and assist the provincial investment promotion programs in Japan. He also said that the province would work out the trade promotion program in Japan, and the Consulate General of Viet Nam in Osaka (Japan) would assist to connect with the enterprises and corporations in Osaka (Japan).
