Opening of the 20th Session of the 13th Provincial People's Council
(binhdinh.gov.vn) - On the morning of December 10, at the Provincial Convention Center (Quy Nhon City), the 13th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026, opened the 20th Session - the regular session at the end of 2024, to assess the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, national defense - security in 2024; set out directions, goals, and tasks for 2025; at the same time, consider and decide on many other important contents under the authority of the Provincial People's Council. Attending the session were 53/54 delegates of the Provincial People's Council.

In his opening speech, Comrade Ho Quoc Dung, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, said that the 20th Session, which took place over 3 days (December 10-12, 2024), had a large amount of content, with 90 reports, 58 submissions and a draft Resolution prepared by relevant agencies. The contents that the Provincial People's Council considered and decided at this session are very important for the socio-economic development of the province in 2025 and the entire period of 2021 - 2025. The objective and comprehensive review and assessment of the socio-economic development situation, ensuring national defense and security in 2024; Deciding on the goals, tasks and solutions for socio-economic development in 2025 is an extremely important content of this session.
Therefore, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Ho Quoc Dung requested the Provincial People's Council delegates to focus on discussing the achievements, limitations, shortcomings, causes and goals and tasks set for 2025; On that basis, propose solutions to focus on leadership and direction to remove bottlenecks, difficulties, and obstacles, successfully organize the implementation of the socio-economic development plan, ensure national defense and security in 2025, and complete the 5-year socio-economic development plan 2021 - 2025.
