In addition, the spirit of solidarity and sharing will be the key to help everyone overcome all challenges. The Director of the Department of Health noted that this mission will face many difficulties due to harsh weather, poor living conditions, and the risk of disease outbreaks. However, he believes that with the enthusiasm, determination and fearlessness of all members, the Working Group will successfully complete the assigned tasks. In recent days, Typhoon Yagi has made landfall and caused serious damage to the northern provinces of our country. The storm brought heavy rains and widespread flooding, severely damaging infrastructure, roads, houses, and disrupting people's lives. In particular, Thai Nguyen and Yen Bai provinces are facing an increased risk of disease outbreaks due to environmental pollution, scarcity of clean water and severely affected health care.
In this situation, following the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Health has quickly coordinated with relevant units to organize a working group to provide medical support to people in affected areas. During this working session, the group will be present in Thai Nguyen and Yen Bai provinces. These are localities that have been and are being seriously affected by Typhoon Yagi, causing a lot of damage to infrastructure, people's lives and health.
