At the meeting, Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh expressed his pleasure when Korea Embassy to Vietnam had selected Binh Dinh to organize a program “The Harmony of SOUND”; at the same time, informed the provincial socio-economic development, potential and advantages of Binh Dinh Province in such fields as investment, industrial development, especially potential for tourism development.

Vice Chairman Nguyen Tuan Thanh also said, Quy Nhon City (Binh Dinh Province) and Yongsan District (The Republic of Korea) had a 20-year cooperation and friendship and achieved such positive results in such fields as healthcare, education, social affairs, construction, etc. The Vice Chairman hoped two parties would maintain the cooperation and friendship and Mr. Park Sang-Shik would work as a bridge to connect Korean enterprises to survey and invest in Binh Dinh and vice versa.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Park Sang-Shik, Minster – Korean Embassy to Vietnam expressed his thanks to the Vice Chairman for warm welcome. The Minister also said that about one million tourists annually come to Vietnam, but they only come to Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh, Da Nang, etc. Quy Nhon is like “a precious pearl that not many people know”. He also requested that Binh Dinh should organize workshops to publicize potential for economic development to Korean tourists and enterprises so that Korean enterprises would survey and invest in Binh Dinh Province.
